I really hope Hannah pulls through for me, because to be honest, if I’m not with him, I don’t want to be with anybody else. And I can honestly say, I don’t regret anything I did with Josue. Not anything at all. Because I’m in love with him, and that will never change. He may piss me off, but love doesn’t just turn off.

What do you do when you love somebody, and you have so many obstacles in your way? When you cry every day, when you can’t have any contact with them, and everybody else is rooting for you to be together, but it just feels impossible because of those obstacles?

I wish I could tell you that things are going to get easier than they are right now, but honestly, they’re only going to get harder.

When you’re about twelve, Mom and Dad will decide to “get back together”. Now, that may seem amazing, a “miracle”, if you will, but frankly, you’ll realize that they’re both completely miserable, and it was almost better when they were apart. Almost.

The fact that they are miserable will cause everyone in the house to be equally as miserable. You’ll go through multiple depressions, unknown to Mom and Dad, and you’ll get to the point where you want to hurt yourself, or do something stupid. But, you don’t do it, because something, you’re not sure what, stops you every time.

But, writing gets you through it all. Journal pages just filled with in. It helps keep you sane.

You meet Sarah, someone who is your best friend for four years, until the church, or “cult”, as you’ll call it, swallows her whole. She ditches you, and you’re alone.

You’ll go through your share of boyfriends – six, to be exact: Hayden Bryant, Cyrus Jolivette, Frankie McIntosh, Chase Keenan, Brandon Monville, and Josue Cardosa. All of them, short-lived and petty, except that last one. He’ll steal your heart, love you, hurt you, need you, and make you feel beautiful. But, after six months, it will be over, completely. I’ll spare you the details, but just know that he will always love you, and you will always love him. You will never get those feelings and the memories you shared out of your mind.

As of now, I’m only sixteen, six years older than you, so I’m not quite sure if it is 100% completely over yet, but I have the smallest bit of hope that one day we will be together again, no matter what it takes. He even says he’ll wait for however long it takes. That’s true love.

Mom and Dad will give you hell, every single day of your life. They’ll bug the crap out of you about high school, about college classes, about your personal life. Some days (most days), you’ll want to throw in the towel and just do something really stupid. When you reach out to Mom for help, she may not be there for you. Please don’t love her any less. It’s just how she is.

And whatever you do, don’t stop writing and don’t give up hope on the things/people who matter most to you.

1. I miss my best friend so much it hurts. I wish things turned out differently. I don’t know how to make them better when there are so many obstacles in the way.

2. No matter how tough I pretend to be, I can get my heart broken just as easily as the next girl. I have a tendency to get attached to the guy I’m with, to make him the center of my world, and that’s where I go wrong, because when he hurts me, it really hurts, and I end up feeling like I am dying. I need to stop that.

3. I need to get serious, and stay serious, about my education. It’s important, and one little mistake can screw it all up, and I’m done putting people (*ahem* guys *ahem*) before my education. Guys are there for a moment, and are never a guarantee, whereas your education is paving the way to your future. I need to remind myself of that.

4. I also need to get serious, and stay serious, about my writing. I love writing, I want it as a career in some way or another, so I need to work at it every day, and if that means forcing myself to write some days, so be it. I didn’t work this hard for nothing.

5. My relationship with my mom is currently being repaired, and I’m happy about it. The boyfriend I had was wonderful for the moment, but when it came down to it, he was only there when he wanted to be there. My mom is there always, whether she really wants to be or not, and I put our relationship in jeopardy for five and a half months for this guy, who hurt me, constantly. It was never an intentional hurt, but he has a lot of growing up to do.

6. I need to get back to doing things that I love, like reading books, shopping, and hanging out with friends, because though I’m busy, I need to make time for fun too.

I've gone through a lot of heartache the past twenty-four hours, and there's still more to come. I just felt like putting that out in the open because I feel like I'm skirting around my issues if I don't acknowledge it. I'm not going to go into detail, but the moral of the story, I've realized, is be with someone who doesn't have to lose you to realize what you're worth or what you should be worth to them.

I went out with a friend, Andrea, today, and my mom. :) They got my mind off of all of this nonsense for a few hours at least. We shopped all day. I got two shirts from Aeropostale, and got two books from Barnes and Noble: "Ballads of Suburbia" and "Nightlight: A Parody". I am excited about both, but mostly, the ladder. I am sixteen pages in, and already, it is far better than the Twilight Saga. Admittedly, Twilight, the first book, was very good. But, the last three just ruined it. I loved the first book when everybody was still saying, "Uhhhhm, what's Twilight?………" So, I'm an original fan. But, anymore, it's a love-hate relationship between me and that series. I have many issues with it, and I have a feeling this parody is going to make me feel a bit better within these next few days. :) So far, it is a sarcastic, yet literate book. It is written pretty much perfectly in regards to Stephenie Meyer's writing style. It's insane. :D

Anyway, once I finish a book, I've decided I'll do a little review of it on here or something. :) I'm getting really serious about a few things now that I've had a big change in my life:

1. I am going to get serious about school. No more screwing around. High school and college are so, so important.

2. I am going to get serious about my writing, and write at least a paragraph every day.

3. I am going to have a better relationship with my mom. We are going to be closer than we ever were before. She stands by me, supports me, and defends me until the end of time, and I will always love her and appreciate everything she does for me.

4. I am going to work on being a better friend, because I don’t deserve any of the ones I have.

5. I am going to start being more confident, because I’ve realized that I deserve to be treated well, and I deserve to think of myself in a positive light, without worrying about anyone else’s opinions.

6. I am going to make more time to read, because I’ve always enjoyed my reading time. <3

7. I am going to be serious about my work when I start work on Wednesday. I know I'm fortunate to have such an amazing job, in a law firm, at sixteen-years-old.

8. I am going to keep painful memories in the back of my mind, and never let go of them, but not dwell on them anymore. No regrets, but I have to move on. It was an amazing experience while it lasted, even if I ended up heartbroken.

He is one sexually frustrated, freaky man, but he has a beautiful mind. I wouldn’t mind interviewing him or something or going to lunch with that man. After only a few pages of “Choke”, my first Chuck Palahniuk book ever, I’ve realized that Chuck Palahniuk will forever be one of my all-time favorite authors. I know I’ll be getting “Lullaby” and “Invisible Monsters” when I go back to Borders. Right now, I only have “Choke” and “Stranger Than Fiction”. :p

But, anyways, texting my friend, Dolly, and listening to music. “Sky Command To Battlestations” by The Sophomore Attempt. :) And talkin’ to Sarah Belle on the phone, for the first time all weekend! :D
